Gold
Gold, platinum and crystal coins are the in-world currency. Every combat monster drops gold scaled to how dangerous it is — a rat pays pocket change, a raid boss pays a fortune. Gold leaves the world through travel fees, dungeon entries, crafting, gear and consumables, which keeps prices meaningful.
Area & event tokens
- Area tokens — earned from kill tasks, spent at area trader levers (Ascalon, Ridgefire, Crimson Desert, Torvora).
- Dungeon tokens — earned by finishing dungeons, spent at the levers near the Dungeon Keeper.
- Event tokens — earned in events and the season pass, spent on event prizes.
Ascalon Coins (premium currency)
Ascalon Coins buy cosmetics and convenience only — never power. That promise is a contract: read the store policy. The current catalog:
